Shotguns can be provided for those who do not own a gun. Cartridges are included in the tariff as only fibre-wad cartridges can be used on our shooting ground.
The seasoned clay shooter/game shooter will have all the gear required to shoot clays and protect them from the elements. If you are new to the sport or just wanting to try it out to see if you enjoy it please arrive in comfortable, warm clothing which will permit free movement. If rain is likely, it will be advisable to wear a waterproof/showerproof jacket.
Sturdy shoes or boots are sufficient for most days but if it is likely to be very wet, wellington boots will be required.
It is recommended that you wear either muffs or plugs to protect your hearing when both shooting and spectating. Ear muffs can be provided for those who do not have their own. In addition, it is recommended that you wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes from stray pieces of broken clays and again, these are provided for those who do not have their own.
