Climate

A unique climate perfect for the outdoor life all year round.

Blessed by the mildest Mediterranean climate it has an average 310 days of sun per year.

Murcia is known for very mild winters and dry hot summers. The average annual temperature is 21ºC. You might get the odd winter's night with just 5ºC but then at day, when the sun is out, you are fine wearing just a short-sleeved shirt.

You can't miss a hot summers day in July or August with 35ºC to 40ºC.

Be a native. Take it slow, enjoy the beach and be careful with the sun. Treat yourself to a tinto de verano (red wine, ice, sparkling soda water) in the chiringuito (beach bar).

There is very little rain in this part of Spain. Murcia is also one of the cleanest areas in Spain with the least industrial pollution.
